How it works

Find the gap, fix it, prove it worked.

StarRise works in five stages: Discover, Diagnose, Prescribe, Execute and Measure. It asks AI engines the questions your buyers ask, shows where you lose and why, turns each gap into a ranked fix, tracks the work, and measures what changed.

Stage 01 · Am I visible?

Discover

StarRise asks the AI engines the questions your buyers ask, and records which brands each answer names and which sources it cites.

You start with your website. StarRise suggests the buyer questions to track, grouped by stage of the buying journey, and the competitors to measure you against. You confirm both.

On every run, each question is asked three times on every engine in your plan. AI answers change from one ask to the next, so three samples give a score with a confidence range instead of a single lucky or unlucky result.

The result is your AI Readiness Score, your rank among the brands you track, and the answer to every question on every engine.

What you get

  • AI Readiness Score and rank
  • Every answer, per question and engine
  • Who each answer named, and the sources it cited
StarRise AI readiness overview for a demo brand: an AI Readiness Score of 51 out of 100, split into Brand Visibility 51 and Technical Readiness 50, with the brand named in 92% of answers, cited in 50%, and ranked second of six tracked brands.

Stage 02 · What's wrong?

Diagnose

StarRise shows where you lose and why: which competitors win each question, the sources engines rely on, the gaps on your site, and whether AI crawlers can read it.

Gaps are grouped by type and severity: citation gaps (pages AI cites for competitors but not for you), content gaps (questions your site does not answer), competitive gaps, and content-quality factors.

The per-engine breakdown shows how each engine treats you, and the crawler check shows whether the AI search crawlers can reach your site at all.

What you get

  • Gaps ranked by severity
  • Per-engine breakdown
  • Crawler access and technical readiness
Gap analysis showing one critical gap, three high-impact gaps and five gaps in total, a per-engine breakdown of mention, share of voice and citation, and a crawler access panel showing which AI crawlers can reach the site.

Stage 03 · How do I fix it?

Prescribe

Every gap becomes a specific fix for your website and your social channels, ranked by projected lift and organised into a weekly plan.

Each fix says what to change, where, and why, and carries the lift it is projected to add to your score. The weekly plan paces the work so your team is not handed everything at once.

Projected lifts are estimates from the impact model, not promises. Measure checks them against what actually moves.

What you get

  • A weekly plan of ranked fixes
  • Projected lift for each fix
  • Website and social recommendations
Weekly action plan showing the AI Readiness Score today at 51 and 77 projected when the plan ships, with the projected lift split across content coverage, content quality, citation authority and bot access.
Prescribe: a weekly plan of ranked fixes, with the lift each one is expected to add. Demo data.

Stage 04 · Get it done

Execute

Every fix becomes a tracked task with a due date and its expected lift. Your team does it, or our GEO/AEO team does it for you.

Tasks move from to do, to in progress, to review, to done, so you can see how much of the projected lift is still to earn.

With White Glove, our team executes the fixes: website content, technical foundations, entity signals, authority and the citations AI engines rely on.

What you get

  • Task board with due dates
  • Expected lift per task
  • Optional hands-on execution
Execution workspace with six tasks grouped by status (in progress, in review, to do and completed), each with a due date and its expected score lift.
Execute: every fix becomes a tracked task, done by your team or ours. Demo data.

Stage 05 · Did it work?

Measure

StarRise asks the same questions again on every run and tracks what moved: per score, per engine and against your competitors.

Projected is the plan. Measured is the proof. Measure shows your score over time, the change since the previous run, and how many questions each engine now names you on.

Because the question set stays the same between runs, a change in the score reflects a change in the answers, not a change in what was asked.

What you get

  • Score trend over time
  • Change by engine and by competitor
  • Fixes shipped against lift measured
Score tracking chart of the AI Readiness Score rising from 11 to 51 across six weekly runs, with changes against the prior run for brand visibility, mention rate, share of voice, citation quality and competitive rank, and a proof-of-value panel per AI engine.
Measure: what moved since the first run, per score and per engine. Demo data.
How we score

Every score, defined.

Every number in StarRise comes from AI answers we collected and checked. If we cannot stand behind a number, we do not show it.

AI Readiness Score

85% Brand Visibility + 15% Technical Readiness

One number from 0 to 100 for how ready your brand is to be found and recommended in AI search.

Brand Visibility

30% mention rate + 40% share of voice + 30% citation rate

How present and how trusted your brand is in the answers to your buyers’ questions.

Technical Readiness

Crawler access, readability, structured data and sitemap

Whether AI search crawlers can reach your site and read it: robots.txt rules for AI crawlers, llms.txt, schema markup and your sitemap.

Mention rate
The share of answers that name your brand.
Share of voice
Your share of all brand mentions across the answers, yours and your competitors’ together.
Citation rate
The share of answers that cite a page on your site as a source. Only verified citations count: sources the engine returned with its answer.
Competitive rank
Where your visibility places you among the brands you track.
Engine weighting
Headline scores weight each engine by its share of AI search use, and every engine also has its own breakdown.
Confidence range
Each question is asked three times per engine, so scores come with a range. A change inside the range is noise; a change outside it is real.
